Welcome to HoopTech! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all HoopTech programs, leagues, memberships, communications, and facility use. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and competitive environment for athletes of all ages.
1. Definitions
- Member – An individual who has an active HoopTech membership contract that provides ongoing access to the facility.
- Guest/Drop-In – A non-Member participant who pays a per-visit fee to use HoopTech services.
- Competitor – An athlete who participates in a HoopTech league, event, or competition.
- Participant – Any person who uses HoopTech facilities or services, including Members, Guests, and Competitors.
2. Memberships
- Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Members agree to keep payment methods current. Missed payments may result in suspension of facility access.
- Membership access is limited to the athlete(s) named on the account.
3. Programs & Leagues
- League registration is confirmed once payment is received. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- HoopTech reserves the right to adjust schedules, team assignments, and program formats as needed.
- Competitors must follow all league rules, sportsmanship standards, and referee decisions.
4. Facility Use
- Participants must check in at the front desk before each session.
- Outside coaching, training, or instruction is not permitted without HoopTech approval.
- Food and drinks (other than water or sports drinks) are not allowed on courts or performance areas.
5. Safety & Conduct
- All Participants must follow HoopTech staff directions at all times.
- Proper athletic shoes and attire are required.
- Horseplay, profanity, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children not actively participating in programs.
6. Waivers & Liability
- Participation in basketball and performance training carries inherent risks. By entering HoopTech facilities, all Participants (or parents/guardians for minors) acknowledge and accept these risks.
- HoopTech is not responsible for injuries, lost items, or personal belongings.
- All Participants must have a signed waiver on file before use of the facility.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Memberships and program fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- If HoopTech cancels a program or league, refunds or credits will be issued.
- Make-up sessions are not guaranteed for missed practices, games, or training.
8. Privacy & Media
- HoopTech may use photos and videos taken inside the facility for marketing and promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing.
- Participant information is used for HoopTech operations, administration, communications, customer service, and other purposes described in these Terms and applicable privacy notices.
- Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for text messaging will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
9. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from HoopTech, you consent to receive SMS and/or MMS messages from HoopTech at the mobile number you provided.
How HoopTech Uses SMS
HoopTech may use text messaging to communicate information related to its programs, services, and facility, including:
- Registration and account confirmations
- Practice, game, league, training, camp, clinic, and event reminders
- Schedule changes, cancellations, delays, and facility updates
- Membership and account-related notifications
- Customer service and responses to inquiries
- Important operational or safety-related announcements
- Promotional or marketing messages regarding HoopTech programs, events, offers, memberships, and services when you have consented to receive such messages
Consent to Receive Messages
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from HoopTech. By opting in, you authorize HoopTech to send text messages to the mobile number you provide, including messages that may be sent using an automated system or similar technology where permitted by law. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency may vary depending on your participation in HoopTech programs, account activity, and communications preferences. Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier's standard messaging and data rates are your responsibility.
Opting Out
You may opt out of HoopTech SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a HoopTech text message. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed. If you participate in more than one HoopTech messaging program, additional opt-out action may be required for separate programs where applicable.

Privacy of SMS Information
HoopTech will use mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information to provide the communications described above and administer its messaging program. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. HoopTech may use service providers that assist in delivering text messages and operating its communications systems, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-use restrictions.
Carrier and Delivery Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. HoopTech cannot guarantee that every text message will be delivered because delivery may depend on your wireless carrier, device, network availability, and other factors outside HoopTech's control. You are responsible for notifying HoopTech if your mobile number changes or is reassigned.
Changes to SMS Program
HoopTech may modify or discontinue its SMS program at any time. Any changes to these SMS Terms will be reflected in the current version of these Terms & Conditions.
10. Changes to Terms
- HoopTech may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at the facility and online at www.hooptech.com. Continued participation after updates means you agree to the updated Terms.
